At the end of March, our final session of Forest School gave us the chance to finish our Stick Man houses and make our very own Stick Men from twigs and string. Our favourite part was peeling a stick to make a skewer for our marshmallow toasting over the fire pit. The marshmallow sandwiches were delicious. Thank you Mrs Tokunaga! J
As Spring is now upon us, Ruby class have been looking at daffodils and drawing from observation. They have used oil pastels and wax crayons to create these amazing pictures. As you will see they looked carefully at the lines, shapes and colours.
As part of our pirate topic we have been drawing pirates of our own inspired by books we have read. Take a look at our pirate pictures.
During January we are having three sessions of Bikeability Balance where we will be learning to ride and control a balance bike. We are practising getting on and off the balance bike safely, doing a controlled stop using only our feet, gliding with both feet off the ground and changing direction whilst on the bike. Here are some photos of our sessions.
